Position Overview
This person will work with the Shop Lead to ensure the company delivers on its promises to our customer base, through the upkeep of our equipment. This person will be required to perform preventive maintenance, required maintenance and work with the Shop Lead on developing strategies to improve uptime and reduced/contained costs.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain and repair Tractors
- Maintain and repair Trailers
- Maintain and repair Reefers
- Create computer generated work orders and billing out parts
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Communicate with staff and drivers in a professional manner
- Communicate with shop lead on deficiencies and solutions
