Controller Duties:
- Lead a team that is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial department.
- Including payroll, billing, financial preparations, tax filings, etc.
- Prepare financials, benchmarking documents, and analytics entries
- Monitor financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs
- Help create direction of organization using financial support
Controller Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive history of financial work
- Deep history in preparing financials
- Deep history in working with budgets
- Extended experience in payroll tax filings, unemployment tax filings, etc.
- Attention to detail
- Organization and project management skills
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Advanced knowledge with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- A self-lit fire that is curious in continuous improvement
Controller experience requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience in a business financial setting
- Previous Controller experience or comparable is a plus
- Previous accrual accounting experience, with deep understanding of General Ledgers
- Pay for this position will be discussed based on previous experience
